By car - from Milan

Drive along the Hi-way A-1 and exit in 'Firenze Scandicci'.

From the Hi-way A-12 exit in 'Livorno' and follow directions for the freeway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (FI-PI-LI) going to Florence.

By Plain - From Rome Airport Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci"

Take the Hi-way A-1 in Florence direction. and after 180 kilometres exit in 'Val di Chiana' and follow the signs for Siena taking the main road n. 326.
Once arrived in Siena take the freeway 'Auto Palio' in Florence direction. Exit in 'Poggibonsi' and follow sign for San Gimignano (11 Km).
Across the town of San Gimignano and go for Montaione (21 Km) passing through the village of 'Il Castagno'. From here turn left at the first or second crossroads.

By Plain - Florence Airport "Amerigo Vespucci"

Florence Airport 'Amerigo Vespucci' - www.aeroporto.firenze.it - 9.00 am/5.00 pm (mon/fry) 055.30615 - is 50 km far from Montaione.

From the airport take the Hi-way 'Firenze-mare' A-11 and after covered 4 Km turn right and go for the Hi-way A-1 Rome direction. Covered 8 Km exit in "Firenze-Scandicci" and take the freeway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (FI-PI-LI).

Fast Road
covered 13 Km exit in 'Ginestra fiorentina' and after 800 mts turn right in Via Virginio following directions for Montespertoli. Once in Montespertoli, across the town and go for Castelfiorentino. Once in Castelfiorentino go direction to Montaione (9 Km).

Easy Road
covered 26 Km exit in 'Empoli Ovest' and take the main road n. 429 in castelfiorentino direction. After 11 Km you reach Castelfiorentino and from here follow sign to Montaione (9 Km).

Fast Road
from Pisa Airport take directly the freeway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (FI-PI-LI) in Florence direction, than exit in 'Santa Croce sull'Arno' and follow road signs for 'Ponte a Egola'. From here crossing the villages of 'La Serra' and than 'Corazzano' reach Montaione.

Easy Road
covered 40 Km exit in 'Empoli Ovest' and take the main road n. 429 in castelfiorentino direction. After 11 Km you reach Castelfiorentino and from here follow sign to Montaione (9 Km).

How to arrive from Montaione to Piè di Costa

Once arrived in Montaione you will find a little slope 'one way' to reach the center of the village, at the end, you will find a square with a parking (piazza Gramsci), from here on follow the sign for Santo Stefano. At this point, there is a downhill road, and after mt 500 on your left there is Piè di Costa, recognizable from a sign on a stone wall.
