Profondo 2008 is our finest wine obtained by vinification of Sangiovese 70% and Merlot 30%, that after being selected, are late harvested and aged in oak barrels for at least 12 months. The wine that is obtained undergoes further refinement in steel for another 4 months to reveal to our senses his whole personality to satisfy even the most discerning tasters.
Very intense ruby red, the nose shows aromas of ripe red fruit and jams including notes of vanilla and toasted, conferred by proper choice of wood. In the mouth it is soft, warm and elegant, with long and smooth finish and with a persistent palate.
At the right serving temperature of 18 ° C is a wine to match with first courses and grilled roast beef as well as aged cheeses.
