Climate in Tuscany and Montaione

Montaione is located in Tuscany, in the center of Italy where the climate is typically mild: the Apennines and the Tyrrhenian Sea in fact, ensure pleasant temperatures to Tuscany and a weather not too much rainy, offering the opportunity to spend a holiday during all the year long.

SPRING

The months of March, April and May are characterized by a variable weather with very mild temperatures, even above 20 ° C, and brief periods of cold. The days are getting longer and warmer hours of the day are ideal to spend in outdoors activities.

SUMMER

In central Italy the summer is usually characterized by prolonged periods of atmospheric stability with temperatures that can reach, especially in the month of August, the 40 C°. It is not unusual in the month of June to have some rainstorm while in July temperatures are higher and rainfall is rare.

AUTUMN

WINTER

In winter (December, January and February) temperatures are obviously lower, on average, range from 2-12 C°. In January and early February the weather is usually cold with little rain. In winter the Apennines in central Italy protect Tuscany from the icy winds from the north.
