A Tuscan Farmhouse called Piè di Costa
Piè di Costa is a charming Tuscan farmhouse dating back to the early 1900s. Its name reflects its connection to the land: “Piè” means at the foot of the “costa,” the hill of Montaione. A unique name, passed down for over a century, unchanged to this day.
Originally part of a much larger estate, Fattoria Accursio, located in Impruneta near Florence, Piè di Costa was home to families who for generations worked in agriculture and livestock, following the rhythms of nature and the seasons.
Acquired by the Bracci family in 1978, the house was restored with respect for its agricultural and rural traditions. An agricultural company was established here, producing olive oil and Chianti DOCG wine, true expressions of these hills.
In 1999, after the final restoration, Piè di Costa was converted into five apartments and is now lovingly managed by Filippo Bracci, who personally welcomes guests wishing to enjoy a Tuscan holiday. Always attentive to guests’ needs and to the care of the surroundings, Filippo ensures every detail is perfect, making everyone feel truly at home.
Here, time flows more slowly, among quiet, scents, and landscapes to be experienced, not just observed.
