Just 500 meters from the charming village of Montaione and overlooking the rolling hills of the Valdelsa, Piè di Costa was born from an ancient farmhouse finely renovated in 1999.
Today Piè di Costa is a small, family-run agriturismo with only 5 apartments, where the intimate atmosphere of old Tuscan country houses meets modern comfort. Here, the rural charm of terracotta floors and exposed beams blends with the simplicity of nature, offering an authentic and relaxing retreat for only 16 guests.
Our apartments are designed for every type of guest: Mimosa and Girasole are ideal for families with children (cots, high chairs, and safety gates for stairs are available for little ones), thanks to their spacious and functional layouts; Iris is perfect for small groups of 4 people, with two private bathrooms ensuring comfort and privacy.
Finally, Ginestra and Gelsomino are the ideal apartments for a romantic getaway amidst nature, relaxation, and Tuscan sunsets.
All apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen with oven, fridge, freezer, and kitchenware, to prepare tasty Tuscan dishes independently, just like at home. In the more spacious ones (Iris, Mimosa, and Girasole), you will also find a dishwasher. To ensure maximum well-being even in the warmest seasons, the bedrooms in Mimosa, Iris, Ginestra, and Gelsomino are equipped with air conditioning, while Girasole features ceiling fans.
Each apartment has a private patio or terrace with table and chairs, ideal for outdoor breakfasts or romantic dinners under the stars.

How many people can stay at Piè di Costa in total?
Piè di Costa holiday home is divided into 5 apartments, two of which have two beds and three have four beds, for a total of 16 people.
How is the kitchen equipped and what is included?
The kitchen is ready for use and includes:
- Dishwasher (in Girasole, Mimosa and Iris apartments)
- Fridge with freezer
- Electric oven
- Gas hob
- Complete set of plates, cutlery and glasses
- Pots, pans and kitchen utensils

Do the apartments have air conditioning?
For your comfort even during the warmest summers, the Gelsomino, Ginestra, Mimosa, and Iris apartments are equipped with air conditioning in the bedrooms. The Girasole apartment does NOT have air conditioning.
Is there a coffee machine in the apartments?
Yes. All apartments are equipped with a typical Italian coffee maker (Moka).
Are salt, pepper and sugar provided in the apartment kitchen?
No. For hygiene reasons, salt, pepper and sugar are not provided.
Are dishwashing detergents provided?
Liquid detergents for hand washing dishes are not provided. Dishwasher tablets (for Girasole, Mimosa and Iris apartments) can be purchased at nearby supermarkets.
Are meals and breakfasts served at Piè di Costa?
No. Meals and breakfasts are not served at Piè di Costa. All apartments are equipped with full kitchen facilities that will allow you to cook your favorite dishes or prepare your own breakfasts.
In addition to what is already described on the website, what do we find in the apartments?
In the bedrooms, you will also find bed linen and bathroom towels (1 small towel, 1 shower towel and 1 face towel). The bathrooms are also provided with 1 roll of toilet paper and a bath mat.
Is cleaning carried out during the week?
No. Cleaning is carried out on the day of departure before the arrival of new guests. However, guests are requested to leave the apartment in good order.
Are towels and sheets changed every day? Is it possible to have extra linen?
Reusing the same linen for several days helps us protect the environment and reduce washing costs, allowing us to keep our prices more competitive. For this reason, towels and sheets are not changed every day.
Upon arrival, you will find bed linen and bathroom towels (1 small towel, 1 large shower towel and 1 medium face towel per person) in the apartment.
Upon request and for a small extra fee, it is also possible to receive supplementary linen or towels.
For those staying more than one week (after 7 days), a complete change of sheets and towels is provided free of charge.
