Located on the upper floor, Apartment Iris is accessed via a characteristic external stone staircase, typical of Tuscan architecture.
The apartment features a bright living room, a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher, two spacious bedrooms (one double and one twin) with air conditioning, and two bathrooms with shower and WC.
Thanks to the presence of two bathrooms and the possibility — on request at the time of booking — to join the twin beds into a double, the apartment is ideal for four guests travelling together in comfort.
Outside, for exclusive use, there is a furnished terrace with table and chairs, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets and panoramic views over the Tuscan countryside.

Notes for additional person (+1)
In this apartment we can accommodate one more person (usually a child/teenager up to 16 years old) at the following rates:
- 0–3 years: Free
- 4–8 years: € 11/day (low season) – € 15/day (high season)
- 9–16 years: € 13/day (low season) – € 18/day (high season)
The cost includes, in addition to sheets and towels, accommodation in a double sofa bed in the living room for the Ginestra apartment, on a sofa bed in the master bedroom for the Iris apartment, and a single bed (8 cm shorter than a standard bed) in the master bedroom for the Girasole apartment.
*The extra cost will be included in the price of the apartment.

Rates NOT include
- Local Occupancy Tax
- Extra cleanings and/or extra change of towels and linings have to be paid a part.
- Any additional heating hours (beyond the 8 daily hours already included in the price) will be charged based on the apartment’s meter, at a cost of: € 2,50/hour (Girasole, Mimosa, Iris) € 2,00/hour (Gelsomino, Ginestra)
- Baby cot for children up to 3/4 years old: € 5,00/day (upon request)
- Medium/small-sized pets allowed with a supplement of € 59,00/pet (to be specified during the booking process)
Local occupancy tax
Price does not include local occupancy tax in the amount of 1,5 euro per person per night only for the first 6 consecutive nights of your stay. At your arrival, Piè di Costa will collect local occupancy tax and pay to the Municipality of Montaione.
Who is Exempt from the fee:
- Children younger than 14 years.
- Disabled people and their careers provided with medical certification.
Local occupancy Tax
The Local occupancy Tax is a fee paid by those staying in one of the accommodations that are located in the territory of Montaione as well as in many other municipalities in the province of Florence. Must be paid to the manager of the accommodation, which will pay it to the Municipality of Montaione.
The tax will be allocated to finance interventions in the tourism sector which will include maintenance, and renovation of cultural and natural heritage sites in addition to local public services.
The tax - € 1,5 per person per night - applies to any overnight (or for each person for each night), up to a maximum of 6 consecutive nights.
Who is Exempt from the fee:
- - Children younger than 14 years.
- - Disabled people and their careers provided with medical certification.
Here follow some examples:
- Family of 2 adults and 1 child 8 years old. 1 week € 1,5 x 6 nights x 2 adults = € 18. The child under 14 is free.
- Family of 2 adults and 1 child 14 years old. 2 weeks € 1,5 x 6 nights x 2 adults + 1 child (3 persons) = € 27.
