Our Wines
In the heart of Tuscany, among the gentle hills of Montaione, in a unique terroir characterized by limestone soil with light clay nuances and ideal exposure, lie the vineyards of Piè di Costa. Here, together with a passion for traditional viticulture, every natural element contributes to creating authentic wines, true ambassadors of our land and the history of Tuscany.
Our vineyards extend over approximately 12 hectares, 3 of which are dedicated to the cultivation of traditional native grape varieties: Sangiovese, Colorino, Trebbiano and Malvasia, from which our Chianti, white and rosé wines are produced.
The harvest, strictly carried out by hand between late September and early October, precedes the delivery of the grapes to the Cantina Sociale Valvirginio in Montespertoli, where expert oenologists, carefully following every production process between tradition and innovation, transform the grapes into the wines we proudly offer our guests each year.
From this union come our wines, a clear expression of the territory and our passion for viticulture, with intensity, character and respect for the typical qualities of the grapes. Each bottle of Piè di Costa contains the emotion of the harvest and our commitment to simple, authentic excellence. Our wines tell the story of Tuscany, its historic grape varieties and the harmony between man and nature.
