NERO
NERO - Chianti Docg
Piè di Costa
"Nero" Chianti is a wine that comes from 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo nero: two of the most representative grape of Tuscany. After harvesting, the grapes - strictly handpicked at the right time of ripening - are brought to the cellar where the wine is done with advanced technologies that tend to limit their contact with oxygen and to exalt all those features of a Chianti wine.
Intense, deep ruby with garnet hues that comes with ageing. The bouquet is of graceful ripe berry fruits and with a scent of violets. The taste is balanced and round, tannin is soft and gentle, and the finish is smooth with a persistent palate.
Best served at 18°C, "Nero" lends itself to pairings with roasted red meats, cold cuts and cheeses.
